The
Performance
Based Services Acquisition (PBSA) Action Workshop assists an acquisition team in
developing an actual performance-based solicitation. The PBSA Action
Workshop integrates the team’s multifunctional
expertise through group processes that result in key solicitation
documents that will meet customer and corporate goals. The workshop

Generally, the
PBSA
Action Workshop is a three day event. Because the Action
Workshop is a functionally integrated, team-based workshop individual
participants are prescreened, and selected to ensure that multifunctional
diversity in the workshop is sufficient for effective use of small group
exercises. All participants are actively engaged throughout the
process.
Individual and organizational learning is reinforced
throughout the workshop to produce a solicitation that includes
performance requirements, performance standards, acceptable
quality/service levels, a performance assessment plan for assuring
required performance, any applicable incentives, and an appropriate

The PBSA Action Workshop is
